Stevenson & Company completed the acquisition of Econo Max Manufacturing, for Chase Door Company, a portfolio holding of Stonebridge Partners. Stonebridge had recently acquired Chase Door and wanted to grow the business by expanding its product offering.
Stevenson researched the market, identified potential acquisition prospects and contacted the owners for potential interest and fit. We facilitated serious discussions with five companies and acquired Econo Max which was located in Oregon. Not only did the acquisition Allow Chase to expand its line of traffic doors, but it also offered the opportunity to extrude their own PVC strip material.
Chase Door Company is the oldest and largest manufacturer of double-acting impact traffic doors. These Doors are gound in food processing, industrial manufacturing and retail stores. It was founded in 1932 and now employs over 200 people in two vertically integrated manufacturing facilities. (www.chasedoors.com)
